Join us on Wed 5 Apr for a walking tour of Harewood’s deer park, led by the British Deer Society and find out more about these fascinating animals. Learn all about our Red, Fallow and Roe Deer as you amble through Harewood’s impressive Deer Park. Aside from deer, the Estate is home to a wealth of wildlife with over 160 kinds of birds, 24 types of mammals and 18 species of butterfly having been recorded in recent years. It’s been five years since Roddy Doyle’s The Commitments last hit UK stages, so don’t miss your chance to check out one of the great modern musicals when it comes to Leeds Grand Theatre in June. Based on the BAFTA Award-winning film, it tells the story of a young working-class musician whose band hit the big time and quickly combust. It’s soundtrack is an all-time-great – ‘Night Train’, ‘Try A Little Tenderness’ and ‘River Deep, Mountain High’ are just a taste. The Commitments comes to Leeds Grand Theatre from Monday 19th to Saturday 24th June 2023.
