    Don’t miss this – Elton John comes to Leeds for one last show as part of his mammoth ‘Farewell Yellow Brick Road’ tour at first direct arena in June. And what a feast of indie music brilliance there is to look forward to. Two Door Cinema Club will headline, dishing out anthems like ‘I Can Talk’, ‘Sun’ and ‘Sleep Alone’. The Lathums, Everything Everything and The Big Moon are also on the bill alongside up-and-coming talents like CMAT and Panic Shack. Live at Leeds In the Park comes to Temple Newsam on Saturday 27th May 2023.

    The North Leeds Food Festival has confirmed its return to Roundhay Park in 2023. Get ready to tuck into pad thai, paella and churros from one of the street food stalls or head to their artisan market, where you can gorge on cured meats and extravagant brownies. Wash it all down with a tipple from eight independent bars while you move your feet as bands play on the live music stage. Don’t forget about all the amazing celebrity chef demonstrations too! The North Leeds Food Festival takes place at Roundhay Park from Saturday 13th to Sunday 14th May 2023.

    Mamma Mia, here we go again! The feel good musical to end them all is back at Leeds Grand Theatre in April 2023. This is an oh-so-funny and oh-so-touching story set on a sun-kissed Greek island that takes you through the ups and downs of love, friendship and identity, soundtracked by ABBA’s greatest hits. It follows Sophie on a quest to find the father she never knew which then brings her mother face-to-face with three men from her past on the eve of a wedding. Mamma Mia! Comes to Leeds Grand Theatre from Tuesday 4th to Saturday 15th April 2023.

    There’s no need to go to Budapest to see George Ezra in 2023 – he’s returning to Leeds for a huge show at first direct arena in March. The tour is in support of his Gold-selling, UK Number 1 album ‘Gold Rush Kid’, so expect latest singles, ‘Green Green Grass’ and ‘Dance All Over Me’, interspersed with his biggest hits. The likes of ‘Shotgun’, ‘Paradise’ and ‘Did You Hear the Rain?’ will no doubt see epic singalongs. George Ezra plays first direct arena on Thursday 16th March 2023.
